Edel Mendoza was raised in New Jersey.  He grew up in a musical family and was a concert pianist by high school.  He graduated as a Biomedical Engineer at Drexel University which led to his journey in the medical field.  In addition, he is a multi-marathon runner and Ironman triathlete.
