(Southpark Vascular Center) Dr. Salman S. Mufti is a graduate from Rutgers University with highest honors and a former Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholar. He completed his education in Vascular and Interventional Radiology from Brown University in Rhode Island.

For the last sixteen years, Dr. Mufti has practiced in Northern Virginia with Inova Health Systems and Fairfax Radiology and serving as the Chief of Vascular and IR from 2017-2020.

He has had numerous accolades including being voted “top doctor” for the Washingtonian Magazine over 13 times and “top doctor” for Northern Virginia Magazine. He actively teaches residents and medical students from UVA and VCU.

He specializes in complex vascular and endovascular procedures, uterine fibroid treatments, vein procedures, and pain management procedures such as kyphoplasty and nerve blocks.

Dr. Mufti enjoys music, movies and is an avid sports fan.
