Dr. John Lipman is a board-certified, award-winning vascular and interventional radiologist who specializes in fibroid treatment and has performed over 8,000 uterine fibroid embolization (UFE) procedures. He has extensive experience caring for patients with uterine fibroids and seeks to educate the public, as well as other physicians, about fibroids and the minimally- invasive UFE procedure.

Dr. Lipman earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. His radiology residency was at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Afterwards, he completed his training with fellowships in vascular and interventional radiology at Yale New-Haven Hospital, Yale University School of Medicine, as well as, the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR); a distinction that only 10% of Interventional Radiologists achieve in their career. He has delivered over 200 lectures globally and continues to volunteer at a non-profit health care center to ensure that help reaches those without access to traditional care.
