Dr. Bunnell attended college at the University of Arizona and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Medicine where she developed a passion for caring for patients with vascular diseases. After being recruited into the Integrated Vascular Surgery training program, she completed her vascular surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

Dr. Bunnell is also a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), meaning she is certified to read and interpret all vascular ultrasounds and diagnostic testing. Dr. Bunnell has published in vascular surgery journals, serves on several committees for national vascular organizations, and speaks at conferences around the country representing her patients and profession nationally. She has a passion for patient advocacy, mentorship, and diversifying representation within the field of vascular surgery. As a result, she has been recognized with many accolades but most importantly by her patients who continuously show their appreciation for the personalized care she offers.
