With a distinguished background in healthcare leadership, Michael Licata brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to his role as CEO at American Vascular Associates. His remarkable journey is marked by significant achievements and an unwavering dedication to success.
In his most recent position as the Chief Strategy Officer at Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Michael showcased strategic acumen, leveraging his extensive healthcare experience to shape the company’s future direction. Prior to this, he served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Healogics Inc., where his leadership played a pivotal role in tripling the company’s wound center footprint.
Before making impactful contributions to private equity-backed healthcare companies, Michael demonstrated his sales and leadership prowess as the North America Vice President of Sales for Nuclear Medicine and Oncology at Philips Medical Systems. Notably, he was the founding general manager who established Philips’ pre-clinical molecular imaging business, highlighting his entrepreneurial spirit.
Commencing his career as a sonar systems engineer, Michael transitioned into healthcare with GE Medical Systems, quickly emerging as a top performer in the company’s Technical Sales Program. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Clarkson University, complemented by an executive MBA from Stanford University.
